First Sergeant Jessie Fair was born in the great state of Mississippi. He is married to Mrs. Minnie R. Lenoir Fair. 1SG Fair spent 23 years in the active Army. He served in the Infantry in many positions, ranging from team leader to company 1SG. He retired from active duty in 1998 and was hired by the East Baton Rouge School Parish as a JROTC instructor at Woodlawn High School. He attended St Leos College in Florida, majoring in Criminal Justice. He also studied at the University of Phoenix where he received his degree in Business Management.
