Click here for form...Open, save to your drive, type in or write, and print.

Since we are using the comprehensive curriculum, your plan of action may reflect that.  Or...using the edusoft program. Those that are in LATAAP, you want to use that.  Many of you have stepped out of your comfort zone and are using technology to teach...use that!  You do so much that can be documented for this plan.

Burning a CD

For any of you who wish to burn a CD, Brian Dupuis sends you this Tech Tip:

Instructions for Burning a CD with Windows XP

By: Brian Dupuis

Copy the file(s) you want to burn (Simply select it, right click, and “Copy”).

Go to your CD Burner’s Drive (on Ms Cundiff’s machine, I believe it was “F”).

Paste the file in this drive (right click, and “Paste”).

Now you will see a heading that says “Files Ready to be written to CD” or something of the sort.  The files will be kind of halfway there – almost translucent.

Now, go to the File menu/Write these files to CD.

It’s going to ask you if it’s a data CD or an audio CD.  Choose one.

Windows Media Player will open up.  It needs to be in “Full Mode” (There’s an icon on the blue bar at the top of the player that appears to be a box inside of another box – kind of a 3-D look.  Clicking this will get you to “Full Mode”).

You need to click on the burn tab.  Your files are there and checked.  They are ready to burn.  If it is a data CD, it will simply burn.  If it is an audio CD, it will convert the files to a useable format (assuming it’s an MP3 or WMA file).

It will convert and/or burn.  The drive will open.  It’s ready to use.
