
METHODS & STYLES OF ACTING II (TR)
Grades - 10, 11, 12
All students will assume some part in major production, whether it be stage crew, character, or lead. Techniques used in acting, staging, and all other phases of play production will be emphasized. All students MUST work on productions to satisfy course requirement. PREREQUISITE: METHODS & STYLES OF ACTING I. TEACHER APPROVAL ONLY!
METHODS & STYLES OF ACTING III (TR)
Grades - 11, 12
This advanced acting class is for students who have taken methods and styles I & II. In this class, students will explore the more intricate aspects of acting including improvisation, character development, and various types of performance. Students will also be given information about professional acting and the entertainment business. PREREQUISITE: METHODS & STYLES OF ACTING I & II. TEACHER APPROVAL ONLY!
STAGECRAFT I
Grades - 10, 11, 12
An introductory course to stagecraft and technical theater with work in basic stage carpentry, lighting, sound, special effects scenery painting, costuming and makeup presented in the form of demonstrations and skills labs. Students are required to crew one show each semester.
