This is my first year teaching Chemistry here at Woodlawn High School, home of the Panthers. I moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana from Eugene, Oregon in January 2009. I taught at Churchill HS (Eugene) for 3.5 years and coached the JV Girls Soccer team for 2 years. Prior to teaching I was a quality control chemist in Schaumburg, Illinois.
I have a Bachelor degree in Chemistry, minor in Environmental Health from Illinois State University. I also have a Master's degree in Middle/Secondary Education from the University of Oregon.
I have a genuine love of science, and share that passion with my students as often as possible.
