Comprised of all band students at WHS, the Woodlawn High School Concert Band is an organization dedicated to performing literature written for Wind Band – a very specialized genre consisting of wind and percussion players.

Regular Performances by the Concert Band include District Band Festival, Christmas Concert, Spring Concert, Spring Commencement, school assemblies, and other functions as announced.  All students are encouraged to audition for All-Parish and All-State honor bands.  After school rehearsals are sometimes necessary; you will have sufficient notice.  Attendance at all performances and rehearsals is required of all band members.
